This is just a 7 inch that came out in the 90s by a pretty much unknown band called the Cherry Smash. They only ever recorded four songs, and one of them was on a VA compliation but it was a bummer. However, the OTHER three are on this record. The first song is called “Nowhere Generation” and it’s track long chill toke. I guess a lot of people would call it lo-fi, but to me it just sounds like a band that listened to way too much Beach boys and Dinosaur jr. This and the other highlight, “Airport Girl”, are just warm and fuzzy and have those sixties monotone vocals combined with gnarly 90s guitars. In my mind, this is a killer combination.
